“Fabulous Family Stay at Villa Luna Blu!!!”
“To celebrate a milestone birthday, our family of 8 adults and two toddlers spent 8
days/nights at Villa Luna Blu. To put it mildly, our stay will be forever memorable! The
Villa and grounds are lovely, expansive, well-equipped, and scenically situated right on
the shoreline of St. John’s east coast. The main house, the guest house, the covered
outdoor dining terrace, the main courtyard, the overlook terrace, the hot tub terrace, the
infinity pool, and the guest pool all served us extremely well, not to mention the large,
comfortable bedrooms and lovely outdoor showers! The communication with the hosts
was excellent both when preparing for our trip and during our stay. Our highest kudos to
Villa Luna Blu.”

“Family Holiday Trip”
“Could just stay ditto to what others have said as property and location was beautiful but
wanted to say how great Keng was. We didn’t get into St John until 7:30 at night and he
was there to meet us, and our rental car didn’t have much gas in it and the next day he
put 3 gallons in it so we wouldn’t run out before we could get more and wouldn’t accept
any money for it. There were 14 of us ranging in age from 2 to 75 and bedrooms worked
well for everyone. We ate in most of the time and made use of both kitchens
sometimes. Was great to be able to use the snorkeling gear for some of the family and
the kids all loved the main pool. Would love to stay there again sometime and will
recommend it to friends. Wished we had it longer than we did as left St Thomas 6 hrs
late on 12/24 and got stuck in Atlanta for 3 nights as couldn’t get back to Denver.”

“Incredible House”
“Villa Luna Blu is as amazing as the pictures show and previous reviews state. Our
group consisted of 6 couples (adults only), and we all had an incredible time. The
multiple, detached living areas provided the ability to all get together while the detached,
private rooms allowed couples to have complete privacy. Truly the best of both worlds.
While we only had adults with us this time we are already considering coming back as
families. There is an absolutely amazing amount of space. The location has a serene
seclusion and yet it is only 3 miles from the heartbeat of Coral Bay. 3 we’ll stocked
grocery stores and numerous restaurants all within that 3-mile drive.

so the six bedrooms were perfect! There is plenty of common space, but also lots of
private space! Have stayed on St. John before, but think I prefer the Coral Bay location
best! Would love to think we could come for another visit!”

“Our stay was nothing short of amazing! Keng the property manager was the best and
he takes care of this property with much loving care. I have been to St John many times
in my life and this by far was the nicest home I have ever stayed in. We did most of our
cooking right there and the kitchen was well stocked with most things we needed. We
had 12 people all together in our party and never felt cramped or in someone’s way. The
rooms were all very comparable with no one feeling like they had the lessor room. The
bedding was beautiful with all you could ask for. I will for sure come back to this home
again if they will have me.”

Minor issue that can be expected when staying at such a large place for over a week bur nothing that wasn’t immediately taken care of. Teng (site manager) is amazing! “Perfect Family Vacation at Villa Luna Blu!”
“Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, and drink in the wild air.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best to describe our wonderful family vacation on St. John. They say when you step off the people ferry, St John captures a piece your heart. Our hearts were immediately captured, and Villa Luna Blu had the amplified that effect. As you arrive, you will be amazed at the property and views – stunning landscaping, creative architecture to highlight the views while ensuring privacy, and a superior level of detailed furnishings, curated art, and amenities. When you go – take notice to the light fixtures that pay a homage to the villa’s name detailing out the various phases of the moon. Our family was blown away. We were a group of both 9 adults and 3 children. The Villa was perfect for this number and group! We spent our days exploring the beautiful Island and our afternoons spent at house in the pool! The Villa is close to the “secret beaches” on the East End and South Shore, and it’s a beautiful drive to the North Shore and Cruz Bay in about 20 minutes. Our family enjoyed the local shops and restaurants of Coral Bay, just a quick drive from the house! The chef’s kitchen being very well appointed served as the communal gathering place for meals, drinks, and tons of laughs. At night, we sat outside and enjoyed the sounds of the ocean and wildlife as well as having a local band come and play for an extra special event. Every morning we woke up to an amazing sunrise and were greeted by the locals (Goats). The bedrooms were beautiful, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The outdoor showers with scenic views of the ocean made for a real refresher! Villa Luna Blu had everything we needed for our trips to the beach and our days spent at the house. Words cannot express our gratitude and appreciation for Keng, the property manager. He made our trip even better; he was always there if we needed anything or had questions. HUGE shout out to him!

“Villa Luna Blu far exceeded our expectations”
Villa Luna Blu was a dream come true! We were two families in need of a get-away and Villa Luna Blu more than delivered. The property is gorgeous, with buildings sprawling over beautifully landscaped gardens with amazing views of water, boats and islands every way you turn. There was more than enough space for the 10 of us and the owners had thought of everything we needed to enjoy ten days and nights there. Beach days were easier with snorkel gear, towels and beach chairs/umbrellas provided. The pool, firepit and hot tub were particular highlights for our group – it was never hard to convince the crowd to leave the beach as the house was such a great place to be. We also loved the location on the quieter Coral Bay side of the island, with our own stretch of rocky beach, but still within an easy drive to great beaches and restaurants. Villa Luna Blu far exceeded our expectations and we hope to be back very soon!

My family and I have been visiting the beautiful island of St John since 2010. For the last 10 years we have been coming to this magical place. Anyone who has been here knows that all of the travel time and headache of dealing with airlines, rental cars & taxis can be exhausting, but all of this is always worth it as the island itself is a healing place…With that said, the home that you rent while you are here is truly a key piece to the enjoyment and memory of the island. I didn’t think that we could possibly find a home that could come close to matching the beauty and relaxation that the Island itself provides. Well we found it, Villa Luna Blu!
In all of our visits, we never had any of our kids or anyone we brought here utter the words, “I think I will stay at the house today,” until this trip and our stay at Villa Luna Blu. From the beautiful pool overlooking that crystal blue water to the walks down the beach that sits in front of the home. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves below was incredible. I could seriously go on and on. This is a dream home and worth EVERY single penny we spent. Some people say they don’t care where they stay as long as they have a roof over their head and bed to sleep in. I could not disagree more. For us, the home can make or break a trip. We always have a magical time on the Island, but this trip will go down as the best and we have Liz and her beautiful home to thank for this. Not only was the home immaculate and surrounded with breathtaking views, but Liz and her team were just WAY TOO EASY to deal with. Great communication from booking to departure. I will tell you that one of the key components to making the stay at Villa Luna Blu special was the on-site Property Manager named Keng. This guy was hands down one of the nicest, hardest working guys I have ever met. He was extremely attentive and as far as we knew, his entire job was to make sure we were completely comfortable and happy, at least that is the way he made us feel. Keng went so far above and beyond. Any ideas on activities, beaches or restaurants, Keng was there to give us advice and help. Upon arrival, Keng showed us every aspect of the home and made sure we knew where everything was and how to operate the Smart Home Features. I honestly cannot thank Liz and the staff at Villa Luna Blu enough for helping make this 2020 trip one of the most memorable. We will definitely be back!

Villa Luna Blu was amazing. We had an absolutely perfect week! There are so many wonderful things to say about Villa Luna Blu, not sure where to begin. As you arrive and drive up the long driveway, taking in the magical view of the blue Caribbean water is breathtaking.
The Villa is tastefully appointed. The owners have thought of everything, from the flat screen tv’s in all the rooms, to the beds and linens being comfortable and luxurious. We were a large group but the space never felt crowded, privacy could be found in our own ensuite, or the many common areas. One of my favorites were the outdoor showers…heavenly! The views were stunning. Another favorite, the ice machines (a lot of tropical drinks to be made) …bulls-eye! Can’t wait to go back!

“Unparalleled view of the night sky perfect for stargazing”
“Villa Luna Blu was a different villa experience than previous trips to St. John. Each room is virtually sound proof so even though we were there with other guests and our little one, we could all do our own thing without worrying we were keeping anyone else up or waking anyone walking down to the backyard for sunrise if we were up that early. Waves crashing on the sand seem to create a natural sound barrier.
Another great feature of this villa was the common area (kitchen, living and dining rooms) being able to accommodate the 13 of us comfortably for meals or lounging. There’s also a bathroom on this level which was convenient. Villa Luna Blu feels like a home, luxurious but comfortable. Having an ice machine for packing the beach coolers was ideal too.
Some of us had to work during this trip but fortunately, the WiFi worked really well as sometimes on island internet or cable reception can be intermittent and spotty at best. This was not the case at Blu.
In the past, when we’ve stayed on St. John, we would often use our villa like a hotel but with Villa Luna Blu the vibe is so different, it’s a gathering space. Although located on the less populated side of the Island, getting to our favorite beaches was simple, there’s a full market, local shopping and restaurants just minutes from the villa so it was quite convenient to stay local.
With the constant sound of waves lapping on the shore, this villa offers privacy, a comfortable common space, spacious bedrooms with outdoor showers, two salt water pools and an unparalleled view of the night sky perfect for stargazing.”

Sit back and listen to the soothing, relaxing sound of the beach and do it from a number of locations either on the villa’s waterfront, relaxing in the pool, sitting on the patio or lying on a lounge looking out at the mountains.
Having a private room/building to yourself gives you a sense of privacy no matter how many people are there. But if you hop in a car or in a taxi and you can find some very nice places with great people. The hustle and bustle is only a short distance to restaurants, shops, the smoothie guy, and the beaches.
Wherever you are, at Villa Luna Blu or somewhere in town, it is all designed to feel like you’re outdoors. And being on an island, where else would you want to be.”
